St Kilda have named No.1 draft pick Paddy McCartin for his third AFL game, with skipper Nick Riewoldt racing to be fit to face Richmond on Sunday.

McCartin made his debut in round three but has played just one game since.

Riewoldt is fighting to overcome another calf complaint ahead of Sunday's match that will also serve as a tribute to his sister, Maddie, who suffered from a rare bone marrow disorder and recently died.
